Business intelligence

Business Intelligence Services for Numbers Leadership Can Trust.

Most owners don’t lack data — they’re drowning in it. GA4, CRM reports, ecommerce dashboards, inventory reports, accounting statements, spreadsheets someone emails around every week. And yet, asked “how’s the business doing?” the honest answer is often “I think we’re okay, but I’m not totally sure.” That’s not because you’re bad at running a business. It’s because the reporting isn’t designed for decision-making.

Supported platforms and applications

Built on the platforms your business already runs.

Business application platforms are the foundation. Our solutions are built user experience and workflow first, features second: a CRM is a CRM, and the platform you already run is the one we build on. Zoho is our partner; the rest we support through their published APIs, with the keys coming from your own instance in production. A platform we have not connected yet is a small project for the first customer who asks.

It’s not the charts

The real BI problem most SMBs have.

Most reporting systems answer questions like:

  • “What happened last month?”
  • “How many of X did we sell?
  • “Here’s a number, good luck.”

What owners actually need is simpler: know what needs attention today, who’s falling behind, whether something looks wrong before it’s a crisis — and when nothing’s wrong, permission to stop worrying. That’s what good BI does.

Tool-level reports

Why GA4 and tool-level reports don’t help.

Tools like GA4 aren’t bad. They’re just built for analysts, marketers, and specialists — not for owners running a business between meetings, customers, and employees.

And the same problem shows up everywhere:

  • CRM reports don’t match inventory reality.
  • Ecommerce numbers don’t match accounting.
  • Operations metrics live somewhere else entirely.

When reports don’t agree, people stop trusting all of them. So they default to gut feel.

What we mean by BI

Four questions a dashboard should answer.

For us, business intelligence isn’t fancy dashboards — it’s clarity. We design dashboards aggressively simple, built to answer exactly four questions.

  1. Step 1: What do I need to do today?

Clear signals about where attention is required, what can’t wait, and what will cause problems if ignored. No hunting. No interpretation.

  2. Step 2: What are other people supposed to be doing — that they haven’t done yet?

Where BI connects to real accountability. We integrate dashboards with CRM activity, inventory and fulfillment status, and task management — so stalled leads, missed follow-ups, and bottlenecks surface without nagging.

  3. Step 3: Are there any early warning signs I should worry about?

Inventory accuracy slipping, conversion rates declining, fulfillment delays increasing, margins quietly eroding. You don’t need to know why yet — you just need to know “something’s off, pay attention.”

  4. Step 4: If nothing’s wrong, can I relax?

The most underrated feature. When everything’s in range, the system should tell you so — that peace of mind is what lets owners focus on growth instead of firefighting.

A prerequisite

Why BI fails without integration.

Business intelligence only works when the underlying systems are integrated. If data comes from CRM, ecommerce, inventory, fulfillment, accounting, and marketing automation — but those systems don’t agree with each other — then BI just becomes another opinion.

That’s why BI is the last piece we layer in — not the first. It ties together: When the systems are connected, the dashboards become trustworthy.

Our approach

“Idiot-proof” by design.

We design BI for business owners, not analysts. That means four things.

  • No clutter.
  • No vanity metrics.
  • No guessing what a number means.
  • No digging through menus.

If a dashboard requires training, it failed. You should glance at it and immediately know what matters — and whether today is a “deal with it” day or a “go build” day.

How we build it

We don’t start with the dashboard.

We don’t start by asking “what do you want to see on a dashboard?” We start by asking:

  • What decisions do you make daily?
  • Where do problems usually show up?
  • What keeps you up at night?
  • What would you love to stop worrying about?

Then we design dashboards that pull from integrated systems, highlight only what matters, trigger tasks and follow-up automatically, and support real-world decisions.

Questions

Questions people ask.

What does a business intelligence consultant actually deliver?

Dashboards that answer four questions for an owner: what needs attention today, what other people are supposed to have done and have not, whether any early warning signs need worrying about, and whether nothing is wrong and the owner can relax. The deliverable is the definitions behind the numbers as much as the charts, so each metric has one meaning across the CRM, inventory, commerce and accounting systems that feed it.

Why do our CRM, e-commerce and accounting reports show different numbers?

Because each system computes the number from its own records with its own definitions, and the systems have never been told which one is authoritative. Business intelligence layered over disagreeing systems becomes one more opinion. The fix is integration first: one system of record per fact, then dashboards that read from the integrated data. That is why BI is the last piece added, not the first.

How much does business intelligence consulting cost?

It depends on how many systems feed the dashboards and how much of the data model is still undecided, which is what discovery establishes. Discovery is free unless the client proceeds, in which case a small fee rolls into the first invoice, and the work is quoted as a fixed, guaranteed estimate rather than hourly. Most BI work follows a systems clean-up, so the cost is often shared with the integration it depends on.

How long does it take to get a trustworthy dashboard?

The dashboard itself is quick once the data agrees. The time goes into deciding the definitions, connecting the systems and verifying that the numbers match what the business knows to be true. A first dashboard covering one decision, such as today's exceptions or stalled follow-ups, usually ships before the full set, so the owner sees value while the remaining sources are connected.

Can a dashboard trigger work instead of just showing numbers?

Yes. When the dashboard reads from integrated systems, a stalled lead, a missed follow-up or a slipping inventory count can create a task for a named person with a due date, and escalate on a timer if it sits. The dashboard then shows what has been done and what has not, which is where reporting connects to accountability rather than to nagging.

How we deliver

Configured and integrated by AI, priced by the outcome.

  1. AI does the configuration.

We write your systems’ configuration as code and let AI apply it: fields, picklists, layouts, workflow rules, integrations, read back and verified after every step, so a build that took weeks of clicking takes days.

  2. A fixed price, not an hourly bill.

Because the work is programmatic, we quote the outcome, not the hours. The estimate is guaranteed and discovery is no-risk.

  3. Proof from our own build.

Our own CRM rebuild in October 2026: 21 shared picklists, 3 modules, 88 fields, 7 layouts, 23 workflow rules and 16 actions, built through code in 22 verified runs, every step read back.

The same tools that configure your systems today are what run our agentic solutions tomorrow: one surface over the systems you already own. See the agentic solutions

How this usually starts

Most BI work begins after we’ve cleaned up the systems.

But it often starts with a simple conversation during No-Risk Discovery: what do you wish you could see clearly? What decisions feel fuzzy? Where do you suspect problems are hiding? Discovery is free unless you decide to hire us, in which case a small discovery fee is rolled into your first invoice.
