What is a dedicated team in outsourcing?

Building an outsourced dedicated team is a process in which a client partners with CodeStringers to assemble a team of personnel to work at the direction of the client in building a software product or a portion of one. The difference between outsourced software product development and a dedicated team is in how the team is managed with the former being managed by a CodeStringers executive who acts as an extension of the client’s product leadership team and the latter being directly managed by the client’s product leadership. Dedicated teams may include a variety of resources that may include some or all of the following: product management; user experience and interface design; backend, frontend and/or mobile development, quality assurance testing and automation engineering; and devops to define, build, test, release and manage a client’s product.

If a person does not have the required job and technical skills or fails to live up to our cultural standards, probation is terminated and new candidates are recruited.

When CodeStringers builds a dedicated team for a client, we assign a team of resources that includes the “right” level of seniority and we provide a management/leadership structure who, transparent to clients, oversee those resources to ensure that our standards of quality are met. And the cost of that leadership oversight is bundled in our monthly resource pricing. In other words, we “sell” the client a team of personnel, but we also have management oversee the work quality of those people and include the cost of that extra service in our pricing. Larger outsourcers just assign a team and hope for the best and, when the best doesn’t happen, blame the client for mismanaging the initiative.
